CIRCLE OF SECURITY© PARENTING DVD

CIRCLE OF SECURITY© is an innovative intervention program designed to alter the developmental pathway of parents and their young children. Every child comes into the world seeking a secure relationship with her/his caregivers. A secure attachment between child and caregiver is critical to a child's current and future well-being. The Circle of Security© program helps promote that security.

Do you ever wonder why your child is misbehaving and why it seems that they are not listening to you?

Do you ever feel overwhelmed or frustrated when your child's behaviour is demanding or clingy?

Come and find solutions to these questions in a fun, dynamic, caring environment.

You can explore how to...

Build a secure base/haven relationship with your child.
Shift your focus from behaviour management to enhancing the quality of the relationship with your child.
Be taught the skill of self-reflection.
Video examples will help to support increased empathy in you for your child.
Identify new options to manage emotions
Learn step-by-step approaches for promoting secure attachment in your children.
Learn to support your child's emotional needs.

This is an 8 week programme

Our Term 1 programme is available in 2 time slots:

10am - 12pm Monday 15th February until Monday 12th April 2021 (excludes Easter Monday)

Held at Dayspring Trust, 2 Seabrook Avenue, New Lynn

7pm - 9pm Wednesday 17th February until Wednesday 7th April

Held at He Kakano Ora (HKO), Te Atatu

Cost $160

A creche is available for your 0-5's at $1 per session while you attend the Circle of Security Programme. (Monday class only)

Circle of Security is delivered by trained and registered Circle of Security Facilitators.

Weekly COS-P approved Fidelity Supervision is provided for facilitators of this programme.

Exercise Classes

Our personal trainer Chloe's passion is helping women of all ages and abilities achieve their health and fitness goals. Her exercise classes are designed to get you fit, get your metabolism burning faster and target the bits of your body us ladies care about the most- flat stomachs, shapely legs and toned arms- while having a heap of fun along the way.

Keep fit and healthy and make new friends in a fun and motivational environment!

Classes are held every Tuesday in school Term time.

Term 1 dates: Tuesday 9th February until Tuesday 13th April 2021

Time: 10:00am - 11:00am

Cost: $5.00 per session

Venue: Dayspring Care Centre, 2A Seabrook Avenue, New Lynn.

Please bring a towel and a drink bottle.

Booking is essential.

Sewing Classes

Suitable for beginners to advanced sewers.
Build your skills week by week and choose your projects. Make your own clothing, children's clothing, crafts or accessories.
Sewing machines and overlockers supplied.
Please bring your material and patterns and a small sewing kit including pins, scissors, cotton, tape measure, un-picker and tailor's chalk/pencil.

Classes are held every Friday in school term time excluding public holidays.

Term 1 dates: Friday 12th February until Friday 16th April 2021

Time: 9:30am - 2:00pm

Cost: $108 to be paid at time of booking, please note your space is not confirmed until full payment has been received

Cancellation Policy: Fees are not refunded if you withdraw within 48 hours of commencement. All courses need a minimum number of enrolments to go ahead. If the course does not have the required number of enrolments, we regret that we will need to cancel. You will be contacted by either email, telephone or by text, 2 - 3 days prior to the scheduled start date and we will refund your money.
