Workshops and Classes

Art Classes:

Thursday: 10.00 am - 12.00 noon.Cost: $20.00 per term

Sewing Classes:

Tuesday and Friday: 9.30 am - 1.00 pm.Everyone in the group gets to sew whatever she likes, with a tutor's guidance.

You will learn how use a sewing machine, take measurements, adjust patterns to fit, cut a variety of fabrics and construct a complete garment.

This course will suit everyone, from absolute beginners through to experienced sewers.

B.Y.O:

Pins, scissors, patterns and material.Cost: $20.00 per term

Coffee, Craft and Conversation:

Bring a craft (a chance to complete those unfinished projects!), meet new people; enjoy coffee and conversation and some time out for you.

Cooking and craft workshops can be arranged at different times through out the year.

Monday: 10.00 am - 12 noon.

$2.00 for morning tea

Creche available, booking is essential

Wednesday: 10.00 am - 12.30 pm.learn knitting and crafts; enjoy games, music and fun; with $2 for lunch

Clearing Anger Recovery

For adults who have suffered the effects of trauma and abuse. This programme facilitates healing in four stages.  This four stage process develops emotional stability, anger control, relationship skills, self esteem and personal safety.

Restore & Resolve   stages 1& 2

Restore Stage 1: 

Tuesdays 9.30 am - 1.30 pm, 3rd August to 21st September 2010

Resolve Stage 2:

Thursdays 9.30 am - 1.30 pm, 29th July to 16th September 2010

A free creche is provided from 9.30 am - 1.30 pm. Bring your child's drink and food.

Each programme is facilitated by professionally trained, supervised and experienced counsellors.

Restore and Resolve is offered in collaborative partnership between Dayspring Trust and the HEAL Trust.

The first five years of seeking and safely engaging the world are critical for the future succes of every boy and girl. Bonding with Little Ones empowers mothers to make informed choices for their children based on scientific study on the developing brain.

This attachment-parenting programme offers opportunities for mothers to build emotional well-being for life as they respond to:

  • crying and separations
  • sleep and bedtimes
  • behaving badly
  • anger and tantrums
  • Fun and play
  • Nurturing and comforting
  • Building self-esteem
  • self-care and emotional refuelling
