Restore, Resolve, Reconnect & Release:

A four stage Clearing Anger Recovery programme that facilitates healing for adults who have suffered the effects of trauma and abuse.

Emotional stability, anger control, relationship skills, self esteem and personal safety is developed throughout the four stage process.

Restore: Clearing Anger Recovery - Stage 1

Restore is the first stage in a four stage approach that prepares and strengthens adults who suffer from the long term effects of abuse, neglect and trauma.

Restore builds emotional stability, anger control, inter-personal skills, self esteem, and personal safety.

Once you have addressed your special needs and issues in Restore, you can go on to safely process your traumatic memories, resolve your pain, and learn healthy relationship skills in stages 2, 3 and 4 of the Clearing Anger programme: Resolve, Reconnect, Release.

Resolve: Clearing Anger Recovery - Stage 2

Resolve is for those who feel disappointment, hurt, resentment and bitterness. In small groups, this educational and therapeutic programme helps those who struggle with angry feelings and behaviour; or need to make peace with the past.

Resolve helps you find deep healing from emotional pain and shame. It may be the result of destructive patterns of relating; insecure attachment style; poor parenting practices; or abuse. Resolve will help facilitate the process of working through and putting right ... so you can make peace with the past.

In your small group you will be highly supported by experienced counsellors. Gently and safely, the programme helps you address and resolve painful issues:

  • anger
  • family violence
  • trauma
  • abandonment
  • the pain of adoption
  • the break down of relationships
  • parental neglect
  • abuse in childhood
Resolve provides a safe, careful and nurturing environment, underpinned by a well-research theoretical framework, grounded on evidence-based practice.

Duration: 8 weekly sessions of education and group therapy. Each session is 4 hours. Work Manual Provided.

Reconnect: Clearing Anger Recovery - Stage 3

Reconnect is a small group programme that works from this premise: a child's positive and/or negative assumptions - about self and the world - are significantly influenced by attachment to primary caregivers.

Reconnect recognises that insecure childhood attachments lie at the core of problems that present themselves as addictions, eating disorders and painful relationships.

By addressing each stage of development, Reconnect helps resolve the pain caused by insecure attachments, unmet needs and trauma.

When you are ready to identify the unresolved issues that may be fuelling your problems, this safe and nurturing small group is an ideal place to complete unfinished work.

Reconnect teaches strategies to help break destructive patterns of thinking and behaviour. You will learn to develop awareness of your inner resources and healing capacity.

You will learn techniques to help you affirm, accept, value, and nurture yourself. You will can develop the ability to create secure attachment with others, to give and receive longed-for love.

Duration: 8 weekly sessions of education and group therapy. Each session is 4 hours.

Release: Clearing Anger Recovery - Stage 4

Release is the final development stage. It helps you in your search for new direction after struggling with painful relationships.

Practical tools are taught, to help you avoid slipping back into negative patterns of relating and defensive or avoidant behaviour.

In this stage of growth, you learn how to create and maintain healthy loving relationships with parents and children, with friends and colleagues. You learn how to give more love to yourself, your family, your community and the world.

Duration for all 4 stages: 8 weekly sessions of education and group therapy. Each session is 4 hours.
